The measurements old to label lengths, capacities, weights of things etc are titled measures. Many countries score their own scheme of measures. But Function Scheme of measures is acuminate and smooth to figure. Thence most countries in the concern using Unit Group of measures
In type of measurement measure Grouping:
The basic organization of size is metre (m)
The primary unit of weight is gram (g)
The canonic unit of susceptibility is litre (l)
Metric method is also quantitative grouping, as it has additional sub units in powers of ten.

Convert 378.6 cm into meter
Solution:
Here the conversion is from centimeter to meter. i.e. from lower unit to higher unit.
100cm equal to 1m.
Hence 378.6cm
= 378.6/100 m
= 3.786 m (shifting the decimal two digits to the left)
